When we found Marley Oak mixed width laminate flooring we immediately knew that it was a product that we absolutely had to have! It is one of the most unique and quirky floors that we have ever seen.

It looks just like a reclaimed or up-cycled oak floor which is highly desirable and normally only available to those with an exceptional budget and regularly used in high end boutiques or interior designed spaces.

This mixed/random width wood floor comes in 90mm ,143mm and 196mm widths adding to the beautiful reclaimed effect of this vibrant and colourful laminated floor. It comes with a high quality digital print and matt oiled look finish making this floor look so much like real wood that the first thing we find people want to do is touch it.

It's easy to install, with its click installation, we recommend floating on an underlay and along with our installation kit, making it a great DIY product.

it is hard wearing and looks outstanding. This is easily one of our favourite floors and we know that our customers will love it too.

Product Questions

What underlay is reqd for marley mixed width
Question by: Mark wallace on 12 Nov 2024, 14:31
For the Marley Oak Mixed Width flooring, which is 12mm thick, I recommend using a high-quality underlay to ensure the best performance and longevity. The type of underlay you choose should depend on the subfloor type in your room:

Concrete Subfloor:
Use a moisture-resistant underlay, such as a foam or rubber underlay with a built-in vapor barrier. This will protect your flooring from any moisture that might seep up from the concrete.

Plywood Subfloor:
A breathable foam underlay is ideal for plywood subfloors. This type of underlay allows the wood to breathe and prevents moisture from getting trapped, which could lead to mold or warping.

Installation

Installation

It's important to inspect your laminate flooring before laying. If you find any defects at all then DO NOT INSTALL THE FLOOR until you speak with your supplier to determine the best way forward. Many manufacturers will not validate a warranty if the defective flooring is installed.

It is not uncommon to find what appears to be very slight damage to the edges and especially the corners of laminate floors. This will mostly be superficial as the machining process can create small imperfections along the click system that will have no effect on the quality or performance of the floor. However large broken areas or large areas of damaged click systems are a cause for concern and you should contact your supplier before proceeding with the installation.

Maintenance

Maintenance

In order to get the maximum lifespan from your laminate floor and keep them looking great, it is important to follow the manufacturers' maintenance instructions. These will vary a litte depending on which brand you purchase but here are some basic guidelines that are applicable to all of our products.
